white noise music ..

i am going to write some more spoken word. this is a new poem i've started; i'm nowhere near done with it. but i wanted to share.. so hear we go.

Beautiful Misery
and she told me to hold her tight,
and never loosen my grip.
not if the stars slowly slipped towards earth
and the sky became a charcoal, dingy black.
she asked me to be her tutelary,
and to never let the pernicious ruffians touch her ebony melanin.
she made me promise to never leave her side,
and to forever keep a death grasp on her heart.
i made the promise.. and never let it go.

anyway, gimme some feedback and tell me if you like it.

i decided that rap music is my least favorite genre. i pretty much only listen to underground hip hop, because the main stream has made me fear for it's life. so, instead, how about a few classics? i could use some..
